An Appeal to World Leaders

My earnest desire is to see a world of genuine peace.

Religions have reached an important point in history. The time has come for people of faith to help fulfil humanity’s long-held hope for a peaceful world.

As we witness the changes taking place around us, we are becoming increasingly aware of the limits of what human effort alone can achieve.

To political leaders, my message is this: human effort alone has its limits. If we are to overcome our differences and work together, we must listen to God, the Creator of all things, and recognise that we are all His children.

We have a responsibility to live in harmony with the principles of creation and to build a world where peace can flourish.
